Version 4.0 & Site Content Launch

At long last, I’m able to welcome back our dedicated visitors to Keira Knightley Fan. As per my posts a couple months back, I’ve been working on the site in my spare time, focusing on a couple of different things. One change you will have noticed is that our gallery is now found at a new url. The decision to rebuild this part of the site was a process that I wasn’t completely sold on at first. The established one has over 6million views, which is an amazing feat for a fansite–but I had my own collection of Keira photos that I’d amassed throughout the years and had no idea how to go about replacing so many images for additional photos, sorting duplicates, replacing for better quality etc. without completely losing my mind. The decision was finally made to create a new gallery, which is still a long way from complete, but will eventually feature lots of rare and exclusive images, as well as Blu-ray quality screen captures from each of Keira’s films that is available on the format (I figured it was time to put my collection to good use!). There’s already quite a few images that were not available in the previous gallery, so I hope you’ll enjoy the additions.

I have also given some attention to the site’s content pages. My aim with any fansite is to make them as extensive and resourceful as possible, creating an online database for Keira and her career, of sorts. There’s still a long way to go (Keira is a busy lady with an extensive career!), but I hope you’ll enjoy browsing what is available so far. Finally, and most noticeably, we have some new designs for the main site and gallery. The shoot featured is a much older one, but a personal favorite that I feel would coincide perfectly with the fall season. I must thank my dear friend Neide for her amazing coding work, and Nicole for creating the beautiful header. If you should come across any errors whilst browsing the site, please do let me know – either via our contact page or through Twitter, I’d be very grateful!

    ‘The Aftermath’ Official Trailer

Today is a good day for Keira fans! As well as her appearance on two talk shows today, we now have our first look at The Aftermath–and it looks like a truly stunning film. It will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.

THE AFTERMATH is set in postwar Germany in 1946. Rachael Morgan (Keira Knightley) arrives in the ruins of Hamburg in the bitter winter, to be reunited with her husband Lewis (Jason Clarke), a British colonel charged with rebuilding the shattered city. But as they set off for their new home, Rachael is stunned to discover that Lewis has made an unexpected decision: They will be sharing the grand house with its previous owners, a German widower (Alexander Skarsgård) and his troubled daughter. In this charged atmosphere, enmity and grief give way to passion and betrayal.
